| Preferred supplier status | All applications are approved by the Council of the Publishers Association, recognising your business as a preferred supplier. Use the Associate Member logo on your corporate stationery and website, signalling your status as a preferred supplier. Publish your business profile in our online membership directory, the most popular area of our website. |
| Networking opportunities | Attend our exclusive events on the same terms as members, either free of charge or at a discounted rate, including our Annual General Meeting and Summer Reception. Present information to committees of our members. |
| Support for your business | Take advantage of our Book Fair Service at our member rate, an efficient and cost-effective way to make the most of your participation in all major book fairs. Book our meeting space in central London with AV facilities and refreshments provided. Access exclusive freebies and special offers, including thousands of template business documents and legal contracts. |
| Marketing and promotion Subject to availability | Promote your business across our social media every three months. Publish a banner ad in our member newsletter every six months. Display your promotional material on our stands at major book fairs, including London, Beijing, Frankfurt, and Shanghai. Shipping costs to be incurred by you. Promote your business with a banner advert on our website, appearing for one week above our membership directory, the most popular page on our site. Advertise in the Industry Insights dashboard, our annual statistical publication which regularly receives coverage across trade and national media, and our Annual Report, both of which are sent to all our members, MPs, and civil servants. Sponsor or partner with us on one of our member events. |

How to apply
To apply for Associate Membership, please read the Terms and Conditions and contact Zuzana Halliwell zhalliwell@publishers.org.uk. Once your membership is approved by Council, we will supply a welcome pack with login details for our website and the Associate Member logo. Associate Membership is open to individuals (freelancers, sole traders and self-employed) and businesses with membership fees based upon turnover.
