Voxblock is a screen-free audiobook player where audiobooks are physical blocks,
designed to be used by children. With no wifi, apps or downloads, with no setup
required, kids can listen without distraction. Named by TheIndependentas ‘The Best
Kids Audio Player 2022 for Ease of Use’, children as young as three can operate the
player independently.
Voxblock has a growing library of over 130 audiobooks having signed contracts with over
15 leading publishers including Harper Collins, Hachette and Scholastic. Putting these
stories on physical blocks gives children an independence and creates a bond with
content in a way no longer possible with apps.
Inspiration came after seeing how much our daughter enjoyed listening to cassette tapes
but struggled to use a Walkman type player. We wanted to find a way for her to listen to
her favourite stories, building her literacy but without the screen of other solutions.
Sensing a gap in the market for a contemporary screen-free audiobook player, Voxblock
was born.
