Our Frankfurt Book Fair 2022 highlights

Blog

Our Senior International Book Fairs Manager, Gloria Bailey, was back at Frankfurt Book Fair this year supporting some Publishers Association members with our Book Fair Services. Here are some of Gloria’s highlights from the fair.

There was a feeling of excitement as the trade arrived for this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair, for many the first time since 2019. Publishers were happy to be having in-person meetings once again and the feedback has been positive with the number and quality of the meetings that took place.

A short summary of our Frankfurt Book Fair 2022 highlights are below.

International Publishers Association Sustainability Summit

Our CEO Dan Conway joined speakers at the International Publishers Association (IPA) Sustainability Summit on Wednesday afternoon. During the event Dan discussed tools to help publishers make sustainable choices, highlighting the Publishers Association’s Carbon Calculator. The tool was launched in September this year following the commitment to the Publishing Declares pledge, and the Publishers Association’s pledge to help members meet their sustainability goals.
