What does a Rights Assistant do?

The Rights Assistant provides administrative support to account managers as they focus their efforts on continuous customer care and securing sales. The role will involve processing contracts and invoicing, preparing presentations to customers and coordinating sales material for international book fairs.

A Rights Assistant reports into a Senior Rights Analyst or Group Rights Director and works with at team of people all over the world.

How do I become a Rights Assistant?

As an entry level role you do not need experience to get a position as a Right Assistant. However it helps if you have had some office experience, such as a work experience placement or internship.

You might study a humanities, social science discipline or foreign language at university.
