Founded in 2017, DarArab is a U.K.-based, independent publisher. In addition to publishing some of the finest voices in modern Arabic literature, DarArab is also committed to translating contemporary literary fiction and poetry for English readers around the world, with a particular interest in unexplored topics that elucidate, challenge/change perceptions, and open dialogue between the Arab world and an English-speaking readership.

DarArab’s mission is rooted in reviving Arabic literary and intellectual heritage by making significant works widely accessible while also supporting the endeavours of talented contemporary Arab writers.

Furthermore, DarArab facilitates the sharing of art and knowledge with English readers through translation to build bridges of cultural understanding and promote intellectual fluidity between the East and the West.
