Diane Spivey retired in May 2020 as Group Contracts Director of Hachette UK and has worked throughout her career in the areas of rights selling and contracts. She is a contributor to Clark’s Publishing Agreements and lectures on Rights and Contracts. With Lynette Owen and agent Juliet Pickering she runs a twice-yearly Selling Rights course hosted by the Institute of English Studies at Senate House, University of London.
