Publishers Association Chief Executive Richard Mollet has described as "very timely" a report by Mike Weatherly MP, intellectual property advisor to David Cameron, arguing that Google is not doing enough to curb online piracy.
Mollet said:"The importance of engagement and co-operation from all players, including search engines, in tackling this issue cannot be understated. "When Google's automatic search suggestions are still leading searchers to the front door of sites which it knows to be infringing, there is clearly a lot more that could be done by them to help us tackle infringement."
