Jacks Thomas joined Reed Exhibitions in 2013 as Director of The London Book Fair, having worked in the corporate and arts public relations sectors for over 20 years. At The London Book Fair, the world’s leading spring book event, her role includes the ongoing development of the Fair as the leading marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content for one of the world’s most creative industries, at a time of transition and transformation across the sector.

Prior to joining Reed Exhibitions, Thomas was a partner at Midas Public Relations, heading up the corporate division as the company’s corporate communications and business development specialist. Prior to this, Thomas was Director of Communications, Europe for Reader’s Digest with a tenure in the US to re-launch the brand prior to a global roll-out. Her close connections with the UK trade were developed through roles at Victor Gollancz, Simon & Schuster, Michael Joseph, HarperCollins and her own agency.
