Recent Projects

Mazars Digital Publishing survey: Our survey was designed to provide an insight into the current state of the publishing sector and focused on how digital has affected business and the industry to date, and how the sector is likely to evolve in the future.  We canvassed the opinion of representatives from all the 'big six' publishing houses as well as a large number of smaller independent publishers, authors and influencers ar the London Book Fair.  Read the results at Mazars Digital Publishing Survey

In the December 2011 edition of our monthly magazine Insight Out we interviewed Tim Hely Hutchinson, CEO of Hachette UK, on his views on how the digital revolution is setting trends for book publishing and forging partnerships with the likes of Amazon.  Watch the video here.

We were invited to speak at the ICAEW Entertainment & Media Group Conference 2012 - an annual conference giving insights into topical issues in the media sector - on rewarding and retaining key talent through tax efficient remuneration strategies.  Alongside other specialists in the media sector, we presented on the recent case law and legislation that has made the landscape for employee tax planning more challenging than ever and discussed ways that a business can incentivise its key staff in a tax efficient way to promote staff retention and capital growth - a key priority for all media companies seeking to retain creative talent.
