CMP has been entrenched in the ‘books’ markets for many years, the most popular sectors including Training Resource Providers, Educational Publishers, Niche Publishers and Manufacturing. Our skill sets and equipment reflect this vertical alignment, and as such we are highly skilled in the following products with considerable capacity to expand:

All core services offered are facilitated from our base in Poole, Dorset. We currently offer four primary print services which are supported by our in-house bindery. Delivery of these services will be carried out by our own transportation on agreed days of the week as we outline in response to question 2.1. Our core services are listed below:

High quality digital printing
Due to the nature of the publishing customers that we manage, it has always been paramount that we produce a high quality finished product in both colour and monochrome. Our Xerox production monochrome presses can produce 4800 x 600dpi / 156lpi quality; line art, solid black coverage, half tones and flat consistent grey scale are never an issue.
Our current fleet of 6 monochrome presses have the capacity to produce an average of 20 million impressions per month. We operate a rolling stock system which will see two of our oldest presses replaced in 2014 with inkjet or continuous feed engines should volume levels continue to grow in line with current trends.
Many of our current presses operate with EA toner technology which provides consistently higher quality levels than did its predecessors, and has the added environmental benefit of operating at lower temperatures. In addition to delivering a reduction in overall production costs, this also results in correspondingly lower energy consumption, and as such generates a further benefit in respect of the environmental dimension of CMP’s operation.
