Majority of children's authors against age guidance

A new survey has revealed the depth of opposition to plans for branding children's books with age guidance. The results of a poll by the Society of Authors (SoA) show that 77 per cent of its members are against the plan. A spokesperson from the Publishers Association (PA) said that a joint approach with SoA was being discussed and that a statement would be issued in the next few days.
