PA Partner
PA Partner has been launched to offer the opportunity for businesses that work with publishing houses to access a range of benefits and the ability to promote their services to the publishing industry via The Publishers Association.
The following benefits are offered to a PA Partner:
- Attendance at Publishers Association events on the same terms as members
- Subject to demand, up to three questions in The Publishers Association 2010 annual
membership survey - Free advertisement and one advertorial per annum in the PA Bulletin e-newsletter
- Free banner advert on The Publishers Association home page for one week once
joined, subject to demand - Listing in a searchable online directory and entry in the monthly printed Member Listing
- A complimentary copy of The Publishers Association Annual Statistics Yearbook
- Two free Global Publishing Information (GPI) country reports of your choice per annum*
- Free attendance for one person at The Publishers Association annual general meeting
- Reduced administration charge for participation in overseas book fairs
- Use of the PA Partner logo on corporate stationery and website.
*Access to certain GPI reports is restricted for overseas registered businesses.
A PA Partner is defined as any UK or overseas business that is not a publisher themselves, but works with or supplies to publishing houses. This may include but is not limited to Bookfairs; Software Providers; Freight Forwarders; Printers; Wholesalers; Distributors etc.
The online directory is organised into categories i.e. distributors and wholesalers and a PA Partner may list their details in up to three that are relevant to the services provided. The listing can also include contact information, descriptive text, images and web-links. If the relevant category isn’t displayed it can be suggested, and if approved, added to the directory.

When applying you will need to supply details of two publisher sponsors, one of whom must be a member of The Publishers Association. Random checks will be undertaken to confirm the details you provide and seek a suitable reference.
