'Best attended' PA International Conference

This year's conference featured a very lively series of sessions which were key for the industry generally and for international publishers specifically. Last Friday's annual PA International Conference was deemed to be the best attended conference for several years. Delegates agreed that the International Conference is a key date in the international publishing calendar, the chance to air issues and a rare opportunity for those in the international arena to meet and talk informally.
Beijing International Book Fair moves to Tianjin for 2008

The 15th Beijing International Book Fair is being held from 1 - 4 September 2008 at the Tianjin International Exhibition Center. Tianjin is located to the South East of Beijing and is on the coast.
UK publishers enjoy increased sales

Total volume sales of participating companies in the PA's statistics scheme - the PA Sales Monitor - increased by 7.7% in January-September 2007 vs 2006, while value sales grew by 6.3%.
