The PA provides a wide range of statistics including:
- quarterly statistical reports from the PA Sales Monitor Scheme (PASM) administered by BML
- an annual statistics yearbook derived from the PASM
- biennial data on rights and co-edition income from books
- annual updates of University Library Spending in the UK on books, journals and Electronic Resources
- annual sector statistical handouts for the divisional AGMs and the International conference as well as handouts for Beijing, Book Expo, London and Frankfurt Book Fairs
- a continuing expanding database of book publishing statistics by country
- quarterly comparison of UK/USA Pricing in liaison with Nielsen BookScan
- hosts on its website the BERR/DTI value of UK book exports by country
