Rob Francis has been a publishing consultant since 1999, having spent the previous 28 years with Pearson Education (then Longman). He finished his days at Pearson Education as Managing Director of the ELT Division. As a consultant, he has carried out work for a wide variety of publishers, including Oxford University Press (OUP), Macmillan, Reader’s Digest, McGraw-Hill, and Thomson, as well as other bodies such as the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. He has prepared a number of GPI reports for the Publishers Association (PA). Rob teaches on the MA Publishing Studies courses at both City University and Oxford Brookes University.
