UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme 2010/11
UKTI has broadened the criteria for companies who can now apply for support under the TAP scheme for 2010/11, and grants are available for BookExpo America, Beijing, Frankfurt, Abu Dhabi and Bologna.

ERDF Global London Business Support Programme
The Global London Export Development Programme is designed to support new or inexperienced exporters  (exports accounting for less than 25% of total business turnover) to build international sales. It is targeted at companies with a turnover bracket below £43 million and comprises two main components:

Companies with a minimum turnover  of £100,000

  • 3 days free of charge consultancy from a UKTI Trade Adviser with international publishing expertise to assist with accelerating their international business development
  • Grant support of up to £1,000 (on a matched funded basis) against the cost of a wide range of export related activities (market visits; sales brochures; translation; website internationalisation and similar)
  • Access to a programme of seminars and events covering the essentials  of trading overseas (e.g. export planning; product distribution; export finance)

Companies with a turnover of less than £100,000  and who have been established for 12 months minimum

  • An export readiness healthcheck to assess their readiness to trade internationally
  • 12 hours free of charge mentoring  from a UKTI Trade Adviser with international publishing expertise to assist with export planning
  • Access to a programme of seminars and events covering the essentials  of trading overseas (e.g. export planning; product distribution; export finance)
