Cairo Book Fair: UK Delegation
The Publishers Association recently led a delegation of 20 to the Cairo International Book Fair as part of the Guest of Honour programme organised by The British Council.
Publishers both large and small, established and new to market spent 3 days meeting publishers, distributors and booksellers from Cairo, and the rest of the Arab World.
The Guest of Honour consisted of a literary cafe featuring British writers including Anthony Horowitz and James Meek, a Reader Development Conference and performances from the National Theatre Company and I Fagolini.
