Simon Juden

Simon Juden joined The Publishers Association as chief executive in May 2007.

He has a degree in Pure Mathematics from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and a PhD from the University of Bath. He taught at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest before working with satellites as a scientist and computer programmer. He went freelance in 1997, first as an IT expert and later as a management consultant, working on a variety of programmes within the high technology sector.

Simon joined the board of the Professional Contractors Group in 2001, becoming its full-time chairman in 2004. He led the organisation through a fundamental restructure, turning round significant losses to a healthy annual surplus, and growing revenues and membership. During this time, Simon worked across a range of government departments on behalf of the UK’s freelancers, achieving a number of positive outcomes.

Graham Taylor

Graham Taylor is the PA’s director of educational, academic and professional publishing. With over 30 years’ experience of the schools, academic, research and vocational markets, Graham promotes our industry’s offer on matters such as raising standards in education, extending access to research outputs, improving the skills base, and harnessing effective use of technology. He looks in particular to address the front line issues associated with a healthy marketplace and the challenges of marketing and managing IPR in the emerging digital landscape.
