Early Years Resource Survey 2008
Welcome to the Directory of Resources to promote speaking and listening in the Early Years Foundation Stage, a collaborative project drawn up in summer 2008 between the National Strategies, The British Educational Suppliers' Association (BESA) and The Publishers Association (PA) at the request of the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).
It lists published resources that can help young children's speaking and listening skills, based on resource details from BESA and PA members. Materials are shown in three sections:
- Teacher resources
- Resources for children
- Multi-component phonic programmes.
The list is not exhaustive, but shows the breadth of resources available; the document will be revised periodically as new resources are published.
