Report on the Outlook for Copyright in the EU - European Parliament - 26 January 2009 This report makes a favourable assessment of the application of the 2001 Copyright Directive and harmonisation of certain aspects of copyright. To counter opposition to it within the European Parliament, the Federation of European Publishers called on publishing houses to become signatories to the following open letter in February 2009.
